Klaus Konarkowski Joins the Cesium Team to Support Commercial Business Development
We’re very happy to welcome Klaus Konarkowski to the Cesium team! As part of our business development team, Klaus supports customers in bringing Cesium products to their unique problem sets.
Klaus is an avid snowboarder and recently went to Grand Targhee.
Klaus has been working with CesiumJS for most of his career, including at AGI, where he engaged with both federal and commercial customers on site, helping them use STK Desktop and STK Components. Later at OneSky, he worked with customers to integrate their unmanned vehicles and custom data sources into OneSky’s unmanned traffic management solution, which is built with CesiumJS.
Klaus’s interest in aircraft extends beyond software: he flew an airplane solo even before he was allowed to drive alone. He holds a commercial pilot certificate with an instrument rating. He earned a Bachelor’s and Master’s of Science in Aerospace Engineering from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
Outside of work, Klaus enjoys snowboarding, developing video games in Godot, roasting coffee, and working on his 1989 MK2 Golf GTI.
