Randy Meech Joins the Cesium Advisory Board

I’m excited to share that Randy Meech has joined our new advisory board to support us while we grow the business around Cesium, scale the team, and reach even more developers and users with 3D maps.

I have deep respect for the passionate culture Randy built as the CEO of Mapzen. Everyone I know from Mapzen was thrilled to work there and contribute so much to open source. In addition, Randy’s SaaS and data experience will be invaluable.

Before Mapzen, Randy’s roles include CTO at Brewster, SVP Engineering at MapQuest, VP Engineering at Patch, and various positions at Google.
