Dave Braig

As a product manager, Dave contributes to the Cesium for Omniverse roadmap, advancing 3D geospatial for simulations and digital twins in industrial solutions.
With two decades of experience in the design and development of GIS solutions, Dave understands how geospatial technology can revolutionize industries. He brings broad experience in leading teams of GIS professionals and developers in crafting geospatial data and applications. Now with Cesium, Dave is helping to bring the most advanced geospatial technology to customers allowing them to make sense of massive amounts of data in ways that can transform their industries.
Dave is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and certified Geospatial Professional (GISP), and he holds a degree in Geography and GIS from Penn State University. He’s also active in teaching GIS technology: he’s an adjunct professor at Delaware Technical Community College, volunteers each year with Delaware’s GIS Day activities, and volunteers in fifth grade classrooms across Delaware to introduce students to GIS.
When he’s not immersed in Cesium projects, Dave can typically be found outdoors: traveling with his family, spending time on the baseball field with his son, or out hiking, fishing, and camping. This year he is learning how to fly fish.
