VT MAK Developed the WebLVC Simulation Viewer to Show a 3D View into a Persistent Real-time Distributed Simulation

VT MAK developed the WebLVC Simulation Viewer using Cesium to show a 3D view into a persistent real-time distributed simulation. Aircraft and ground vehicles are simulated by MAK’s VR-Forces, published via High Level Architecture (HLA), and translated to the web-friendly WebLVC protocol by MAK’s WebLVC Server.

Cesium features used include streaming high-resolution terrain and imagery, early support for 3D models, and CZML.
